Psychology recognition ceremony
What is the Psychology Recognition Ceremony (PRC)?

The PRC is a graduation ceremony offered exclusively to Psychology students who applied and were approved to graduate in Spring or Summer 2026 or who graduated in Winter 2025. The PRC offers a more intimate environment as it highlights students’ successes within the major. The ceremony ends with a name reading ceremony and crossing the stage in front of family and friends! Unlike the College of Sciences ceremony, undergraduate students are only required to wear a black cap and gown for the PRC (you do not have to have an SDSU medallion, etc.). Additionally, master's students should have a master's hood (one with SDSU psychology colors is available from the bookstore).
For the PRC, the limit on guests is 10, making it an option for larger families. More tickets are available for purchase after the initial general sale.
