Application Process

Please email us a full PDF of your Degree Evaluation pertaining to psychology prerequisite to psych.sdsu@gmail.com and complete the $85 fee through our treasurer Angie's Venmo: @angiexga. PLEASE DO NOT VENMO UNTIL YOUR DARS HAS BEEN VERIFIED AS THE MEMBERSHIP FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE

Application steps:​

  • Send a PDF of your Degree Evaluation for approval

    After approval: 

  • Send the application fee, venmo $85 (non-refundable), $55 is the national fee, $30 is our chapter fee — these are one-time

  • You must also apply online to Psi Chi Headquarters, follow this link: https://www.psichi.org/page/JoinToday

  • Send a screenshot of your venmo, national application, and chapter application​

The deadline to turn in both Psi Chi International's online application and SDSU Psi Chi's paper application for the Spring 2026 semester is TBD. Applications will open in spring. If you are unsure of whether you meet Psi Chi requirements, please email psych.sdsu@gmail.com to set up an appointment with an officer.
