PSYCHOLOGY CLUB GENERAL INFORMATION

Psychology Club

Anyone can join!  You do not need to be a psychology major or minor, nor do you have to attend weekly meetings if they conflict with your schedule.

Psychology Club is an amazing way to get involved in the Psychology Department at SDSU and to meet fellow peers who also have an interest in Psychology. We provide opportunities for members to attend lectures about various fields and careers in Psychology, social events, and philanthropic events in the college area.

Application Process?

Applications are available under the "Applications" tab above and may be emailed to psych.sdsu@gmail.com. The $20 fee will only be accepted through Yuleni's Venmo: @yulenid. If Venmo does not work for you, please email us.

Active membership and Points?

An “active” member is someone who meets the below requirements in a one semester time span. If you meet the criteria for one semester, you are eligible to run for certain officer positions, and if you are active for two semesters, you are eligible for a free cord for graduation. If you do not reach the number of attended events, you are still able to purchase a cord at the end of the year.

To achieve an active status in the psychology club, you must earn two points in each of the four categories in the time span of one semester.  Points do not roll over, each semester you will start fresh!  Please refer to the “Points” tab for more information on categories and active status.
